One sector that remains a favorite for gains is defense.
To be sure, the group always seems to be a target of political rhetoric during election time. But neither party wants to be the one known as “soft” on defense. Thus, I doubt whether a new person in the White House will change things much for the defense stocks. Indeed, demand should remain strong for the group.
